The founders of Worldwide Circuit Board Express are Mathew Gosselin Sr. and Mathew Gosselin Jr. Combined they have more than 60 years of experience in the printed circuit board manufacturing industry.
Mat Sr. has owned and consulted with several dozen US board shops. One of his most successful achievements was founding World Wide Circuit Board Express, which was listed as the 48th hottest new small business in America by Entrepreneur Magazine in June/1996.
At the time, World Wide Circuit Board Express was an innovator in quick turn introducing a consistent same day and 24-hour turn to the industry. Other unique characteristics included 5-day standard delivery and his foresight to transfer a board's life cycle to appropriate strategic alliances as quantity and price dictated.
Even in the ‘90s, Mat Sr. was aware of the value of having partners, at that point the company knew it's market niche and outsourced to help augment total customer fulfillment. Raising eyebrows among competitors, World Wide Circuit Board Express achieved ISO 9000 certification within 18 months of its inception.
During the 1970s and ‘80s Mat, Sr. was a plant manager at age 23 and owned his first circuit board shop at the age of 27. His involvement in new development as technology progressed was supplemented by many printed circuit board manufacturing vendors as a beta site for product advancement.
Mat Sr. has extensive community citizenship. They include Vice President of Government Relationship for the Chamber of Commerce, Board of Directors for Big Brothers/Big Sisters and Board of Directors for the Merrimack Valley Manufacturing Partnership (NIST Program). Among recognitions is an honorary degree, businessman of the year and is a non-commissioned officer in the United States Marine Corps.
At the young age of 19, in 1994, Mat Jr. was introduced to the world of sales and engineering in printed circuit boards at World Wide Circuit Board Express under the mentorship of his father. There he worked for fifteen years learning the value of customer relations and interaction with all facets of the industry.
After the sale of World Wide Circuit Board Express to a west coast company, Mat Jr. was recruited by Time Sensitive Circuits in 2009. Formally known as EMC and Titan PCB East, this exposed him to a new range of products. He acquired new knowledge about MIL-PRF-55110, MIL-PRF-31032, and rigid-flex manufacturing.
In 2010, the assets of Time Sensitive Circuits was sold to CCI. There he worked for more than 4 years extending his awareness of worldwide sourcing. He already knew about offshore procurement but that company introduced him to the importance of outsourcing relationships. Today Mat Jr. has numerous manufacturing resources to rely upon offshore and here in the US.
